Competetition Rules 2011/12

A) GENERAL

  1. The competition will run from 13th August 2011 - 13th May 2012. Only games in the Premiership and FA Cup counts towards the competition.
  2. The points awarded to players is the sole responsibility of the competition administrators and their decision is both final and non negotiable.
  3. Managers are deemed to have accepted the above rules by submitting an entry into the competition.

B) TEAM SELECTION

  1. Managers choose a team from the players list published on this web site up to a maximum value of £50m.
  2. Chose one of SIX formations: either 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 or 4-5-1 or 3-4-3 or 5-3-2.
  3. Managers can change the formation during the season by using their transfers. The maximum value of the team cannot exceed £50m.
  4. There is no limit on the number of players you can select from one Premiership club.
  5. Teams must be emailed before 11.59pm on Friday 12th August 2011 to be entered into the competition.

C) TRANSFERS

  1. Transfers will only be accepted during the transfer window and only when submitted through the transfer form on this web site.
  2. The transfer window will be open from 00:01am Saturday 3rd September 2011 until 11:59pm Friday 4th May 2012.
  3. Managers are allowed a maximum 20 transfers in the season and up to four in any single week.
  4. Each team will be deducted 5 points for every transfer made during the course of the season.
  5. The transfer deadline is 11:59pm each Friday with players taking their place in the team from the following Tuesday.
  6. It is the Managers responsibility to ensure the total value of the team does not exceed £50m. If a set of transfers takes the value over £50m, ALL of the transfers will be null and void.
  7. There is no limit on the number of "free" transfers to enable new players entering the League to be selected, providing these transfers are received by Friday 12th August 2011 by 11.59pm.

D) SUBS & PRIZES

  1. Entry costs are £40 per season per team and must be paid by August 12th 2011
  2. A £20 administration charge will be payable on all subs paid after this date.
  3. The costs of hosting the web site (£120.00 for 2010/11) will be paid from the accumulated prize fund. All of the remaining money will be paid out as prize money. An up to date summary of the subs collected and prize money awarded will be available on the web site.
  4. Prizes will be awarded to the top performing teams in both the season long competition, and in nine monthly competitions.
  5. The value of the prize money will be published on the web site after all entries have been received.
  6. Prize money will be distributed at the end of the competition. Any money uncollected by August 1st 2012 will be lost.

E) POINTS

Points will be published on this site and advised regularly by email to all team managers. They will be awarded as follows:

PENALTY SHOOT OUTS

Goals scored, misses and saves in penalty shoot outs COUNT but goalkeepers do not lose points for goals conceded.
